Below we have put together a collection of the most common questions about Uppsala City Hostel. If you don’t find the answer to your question, you are welcome to contact us by telephone or e-mail.
What applies to cancellations?
Cancellations must be made no later than 48 hours before arrival. If you fail to turn up, you will be charged for the first night’s accommodation.
How can I get into the youth hostel when it is closed?
The reception is open between 8 am and 11 pm. When you check in, you will be given an entry code for the door. Use this to enter the youth hostel 24 hours a day. If you would like to check in after the reception opening hours, let us know beforehand.
Where can I park my car?
There are several parking houses around us or an outside parking called Österplan, fee charged.
Does the youth hostel serve breakfast?
We serve breakfast at a cost of 65 SEK. You can of course make your own food in the shared kitchen.
Should I bring bedding and towels?
For everyone’s comfort, you should use a bottom sheet and pillowcase. Bring your own bedding or hire from us at 50 SEK per set. Towels (one small bath towel) may be hired at 20 SEK per set.
Is there wireless Internet at the youth hostel?
There is free wireless Internet for guests. To surf, you will need a wireless network card in your computer.
